Collecting Waves

Collecting Waves was a one day performative project. I travelled to ten different beaches in the South East of Ireland, where I grew up.

I wrote a page on each beach, and released them into the water to catch a wave. The page holding the wave was then placed back into my notebook.

She Wouldn’t Hurt a Fly

2019

In 2019, Ireland was fighting for abortion rights. The time surrounding the referendum was tense and overwhelming. She wouldn't hurt a fly is an artist book that is framed like a child's counting book, following an embroidered fly: it explores the guilt, shame and pain surrounding illegal abortion in Ireland at the time.
